Living and

Il Bel Paese
For centuries Italy has been a source of inspiration for artists from all over the world. But also for young adults from wealthy families, a stay in Italy was an indispensable part of their upbringing. The inexhaustible wealth of art treasures in combination with natural beauty, the mild climate and gastronomic delights are still the great attraction of 'il Bel Paese' today. And not just for artists anymore ... although? We happen to have a high percentage of musicians in Le Marche. Maybe more than just a significant coincidence?

Why Le Marche
Italy in a nutshellIt wasn't a coincidence that the Marchigian poet Cecco d'Ascoli typified his native soil like this: 'Oh beautiful land of the soft hills'. And that is precisely the great attraction of Le Marche. This region in central Italy has everything within reach: The Adriatic Sea, the Apennines, wild flowing rivers and imposing caves, wide valleys and rolling hills. But Le Marche also means culture and history. Such as the renaissance city of Urbino, the birthplace of the painter Rafael. The Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro is an event of international allure, as is the open-air opera festival in Macerata. The Jazz by the Sea festival in Fano and the Summer Jamboree in Senigallia are also crowd pullers. The region is also known for its many fortified towns such as Corinaldo and Mondavio.

Life on a human scale
de mens centraalBut what makes the real difference is the human scale of this region. The absence of mass tourism, the relative simplicity of life, the cordiality, the openness and the willingness of the Marchigians. It is mainly the people who make you feel at home here ... At home in Le Marche
Albums Gallery
During our outings, by bike, by car and train, but also of our work, we took so many photos. We have placed the photos in different albums in order to paint a picture of these two beautiful regions
And what about the Abruzzo?
If this is indeed the case, then we urgently need to do something about it. A region dominated by the overwhelming natural beauty of the Gran Sasso, the Majella and other mountains. The counterpart is the long coastline and its countless seaside resorts with their wide sandy beaches. This makes Abruzzo a region where there is literally something for everyone. Less the golden mean that Le Marche walks with its patchwork quilt and rolling hills, but more of a region of extremes. An ideal outdoor sports paradise where countless routes invite you to go hiking and mountain biking. But there are also cycle paths along the coast for less ambitious cyclists. The term Turismo Lento is perfect for this region. Come and discover it, enjoy and who knows ... the real estate here is still reasonably affordable and with the airport of Pescara nearby, this region will also become an easily accessible destination.
