"We would like to start a naturist campsite in Le Marche ..." Does this dream wish fall into the category "between dream and deed, are laws and practical objections in the way"? Not necessarily!

We are slowly moving towards the end of August and traditionally there are several requests from customers who would very much like to change their lives. The wish to start a busisness in the tourism industry is very popular and then in particular a campsite. When the request came in whether we have for sale would have an object that could be  suitable to start a naturist campsite, my heart jumped. That is another challenge to get your teeth into. And having grown up as a true naturist myself, I naturally feel connected and perhaps I am the right person to assess any objects for suitability.

But we are in Italy, Catholicism is anchored in all the capillaries of society… what does the law actually say about starting a Naturist campsite? I immediately  wrote to the Federazione Naturista Italiana for more clarity. And guess what? The law does not say anything… because there is no law on a national level in which matters are anchored in this area. A number of regions now have regional legislation. But Le Marche is unexplored territory. According to the Federazione representative, this is only an advantage… And I can only agree with that.

A site must of course meet a number of basic rules that every naturist and non-naturist can wholeheartedly subscribe to: The location of the site must be such that there is as little view as possible. The site must not be freely accessible. Logical… but it also immediately causes problems. Where can you find an area where it is not necessary to place a fence of more than two meters high?

Purely by chance, I came across an area that from the aerial photograph looked as if it was almost entirely surrounded by forest. Beautiful large flat fields of arable land, rivers that also provide the natural boundary on two sides ... a future paradise? It could just be. After a first viewing, where I mainly looked with the eyes of a holidaying naturist, I am hopeful. Naturism in Le Marche… then I don't have to leave the region at all to go on holiday.
